Job description:
We are seeking a fast-paced, hands-on Video Content Creator who can take a concept from initial idea through final publication. This is a true A–Z production role where you will be responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and publishing high-quality video content across all digital platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team but must be capable of independently managing projects from start to finish, delivering polished, deadline-driven content that represents the Putco brand at a high level.

Responsibilities:
You will create both short- and long-format videos using existing footage or by capturing new content. This includes planning and executing shoots involving vehicles, product installations, and lifestyle; setting up and managing lighting, cameras, and audio equipment; directing on-camera talent when required; editing content for multiple formats and platforms; optimizing videos for social media performance; creating supporting visual elements such as thumbnails or graphics; writing accurate, SEO-conscious video descriptions; and uploading and publishing content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other channels. You will also maintain and organize equipment and digital assets, ensure vehicles and products are prepared for filming with support from our team members, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently deliver high-quality work on deadline within a fast-moving marketing environment.

Work Environment:
This is a fast-paced, high-output marketing role that requires adaptability, ownership, and accountability. You will be expected to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver professional-quality content from concept through final publication. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Use existing video clips and/or photos to create varying lengths/styles of videos as specified by the Marketing team.
• If existing clips/photos are unavailable, capture the necessary content.
• Set-up lighting and audio equipment when necessary.
• Ensure the shoot is set and ready (vehicles are clean, product is installed/ready, other coworkers will be able to assist with both of these).
• Complete the requested edits promptly so the images or video is ready for publication.
• Upload videos to social media accounts.
• Complete assignments that come into the department in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Proofread and verify the accuracy the information of your video/video descriptions.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possesses a positive attitude and experience working collaboratively with a team.
• Proactively seeks out opportunities to improve both personal and company performance.
• Proficient in video editing software and familiar with its various features and functions.
• Demonstrated experience working in the video production field is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Enthusiastically willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges.

Bonus Qualifications (Highly Valued but required)

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud AI tools (Adobe Firefly, AI-powered editing workflows)
• Being comfortable with the latest creative tools and AI-enhanced editting is a strong plus.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate editing, captions, scripting, thumbnails, or content ideation
• Photography and graphic design experience
• Experience in automotive or product-based content
• Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategy
• FAA Part 107 drone certification or willingness to obtain (company drone provided).
• An Associate Degree in a related field is advantageous but not required.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring standard 8-hour shifts, averaging 40–45 hours per week.
