We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Sales Team!
Provides strategic and tactical leadership for the sales function within one of GreatAmerica’s business units. Hires, develops, mentors and manages sales professionals for optimal performance and growth, consistent with established sales and profitability goals. Conducts market research, develops new products, oversees promotional activities and negotiates major lease programs.
As the VP, Sales you will:
  • Responsible for the growth and development of sales team members aligned with the GreatAmerica Sales Leader Priorities, focusing on what matters most.
  • Analyzes the effectiveness of existing sales programs, processes and systems, and leads related improvement initiatives.
  • Participates in formulating and administering sales and marketing related policies and developing long range goals and objectives (including the establishment of volume and profitability targets for the unit, teams, and individual sales professionals)
  • Active involvement in industry events, associations and tradeshows
  • Directs and coordinates activities of sales professionals to ensure their growth/development and the attainment of goals and objectives
  • Monitors industry trends, and identifies opportunities for unique value-added solutions that provide market differentiation for GreatAmerica and our customers
  • Analyzes activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine functional progress toward stated goals and objectives
  • Actively participates in Business Unit Leadership initiatives, recommending courses of action that align with GreatAmerica’s vision, mission and principles
  • Is in attendance during business hours with minimal absences per GreatAmerica’s attendance policy
  • Attendance requirements include extensive travel and the availability for work out of town on nights and weekends as necessary
  • Lives the GALC principles; involved in cross functional team efforts as required and assigned
  • Performs other duties as required
Sales Leader Priorities
  • Responsible for the growth and development of sales team members aligned with the GreatAmerica Sales Leader Priorities, focusing on what matters most.
To be successful in this role you will need:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years consultative sales experience, 3 of which must have been in a supervisory capacity
Computer Skills
  • MS Office suite

Other Requirements
  • Extensive experience, with a track record of success, in leasing and/or the industry served by the Business Unit is highly desirable
  • Must possess exceptional communication, team building, negotiation, problems solving and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess mathematical aptitude to ensure appropriate financing of lease arrangements
