Plaza Inn is a prestigious 4-star hotel committed to delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team.
Job Summary:
The Waitress will provide high-quality service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience that reflects the standards of a 4-star hotel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personal representative of the hotel, providing service that reflects thehigh standards of the restaurant.
- To exceed all guest expectations when they come to visit and dine in the restaurant.
- Offer support to all colleagues in the restaurant for smooth and efficient operation.
- Report on duty with punctuality, in his/her complete uniform with the proper grooming and appearance in accordance with standard set by the hotel.
- Promote and maintain a positive and harmonious working relationship at all times with the superior and colleagues.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and warm service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Practice Standard Operating Procedure and Hotel Policies and guidelines with complete understanding.
- Must have full knowledge of the menu, beverage list and prices and other special promotions taking place in the hotel. Knowledge on menu content and preparation to be able to answers guest inquiries with regard to Food & Beverage.
- Be able to handle corrective actions if service errors occurs to avoid guest complains and meet the guest satisfaction.
- To understand shift end reports, have knowledge of non-cash or cash transactions and procedures for depositing cash into the safe or collecting due backs.
- Practice the preparation of the service station and all side duties assigned to that station.
- Attend pre-shift opening briefing, weekly and monthly meetings to continually improve the quality of service.
- To know and follow the proper operating procedure of all equipment's used in the Restaurant.
- Follow and practice the safety and sanitation policies as the set standard when handling food and beverage.
- Carrying out any miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as requested by your supervisor’s pertaining to total quality service delivered in the restaurant.
- To be flexible to the task assigned or given by the manager or supervisor on duty.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a 4-star hotel or high-end restaurant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Team player with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
