Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently to minimize wait times
• Provide attentive table service, taking orders accurately and delivering food and beverages promptly
• Assist with setting up dining areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming ambiance
• Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
• Maintain guest relations by anticipating needs, offering personalized service, and fostering a hospitable environment

Skills

• Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service roles within restaurants or hotels is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest relations best practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional phone etiquette and hospitality skills to enhance guest experiences
