Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
• Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in guest services roles such as host/hostess or serving positions that emphasize customer relations
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation and presentation techniques
