Warehouse Finance Analyst

Pogotowie Insektowe is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Al Rayyan, Qatar. This position will focus on managing the financial operations of our warehouse activities, including cost analysis, financial reporting, and optimizing financial efficiency within the warehouse and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics finance, with the ability to provide actionable insights to improve cost control and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on the financial performance of warehouse operations, including inventory costs, storage, labor, and shipping expenses
• Prepare detailed financial reports on warehouse performance, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for cost-saving
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to track and allocate warehouse-related expenses accurately
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting warehouse operational costs, ensuring alignment with overall business financial goals
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per unit stored, cost per shipment, and labor costs in the warehouse
• Support inventory cost management by reconciling physical and financial inventory records to ensure accuracy
• Provide insights and financial analysis to support decision-making in warehouse operations, including space optimization, resource allocation, and logistics improvements
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure proper documentation for financial transactions related to warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial regulations relevant to warehouse finance
• Support audit preparation by providing accurate and up-to-date financial documentation for warehouse and logistics activities
• Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency in warehouse processes, proposing solutions to enhance financial outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience as a finance analyst, cost accountant, or logistics finance specialist in warehouse or distribution environments
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with warehouse cost management, inventory control, or logistics financial analysis
• Knowledge of financial modeling, cost allocation, and process optimization within warehouse operations
• Familiarity with industry-specific financial regulations and inventory management systems
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus
