This role has the overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining the strategic and operational capacity of technology supply chains at Vodafone Oman. The primary responsibilities are to deliver investment and spend optimisation and execute cost saving initiatives, whilst ensuring regulatory and internal governance compliance. The key outcomes expected are to deliver substantial and sustainable contributions to company profitability, and to contain commercial risk through contracts.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity for all company assets

Monitor, control, and audit inventory, implementing strategies like ABC analysis and safety stock
-
Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, fostering continuous improvement.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize workflows.
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and asset traceability.

Coordinate inbound, outbound, and last-mile logistics for retail, e-commerce, and distributors.
-
Oversee reverse logistics and manage faulty returns from suppliers and customers.
-
Manage customs clearance processes and secure TRA (Telecommunications Regulatory Authority) approvals for new shipments.

Validate and process logistics, warehouse, and customs partner invoices to ensure financial accuracy.

Fulfil B2B and wholesale product requests in coordination with the Product Management team.

Maintain and update ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and utilize automation tools.

Generate reports and dashboards to track warehouse performance and inventory accuracy.

Advise on shipping standards, packaging protocols, and end-to-end inventory control.

Manage supplier and transport vendor relationships, negotiating cost-effective deals.

Collaborate closely with Commercial, Technology, Finance, and Product Management teams

Lead annual physical inventory counts and quarterly cycle counts, performing root-cause analysis.

Ensure stock availability for critical items like SIM cards, MBB CPE and FTTH devices based on forecasts

Ensure capital spare movement for Vodafone Network requirements

Optimize distribution routes, logistics workflows, and SLA/KPI performance with partners
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive accurate conclusions from a large volume of diverse and complex data

Commercial acumen and solid knowledge of the technology / telecoms market, and key vendors and players

Extensive experience in leading Managing 3PL and Warehouse operations.

Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management across functions at a senior executive level

Extensive and demonstrable experience in commercial negotiation with suppliers and service providers

Inventory accuracy & reconciliation

Ability to manage contractors and outsourced partners

Strong communication and presentation abilities

A minimum of 3 years in a warehouse and Inventory Management

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Finance or relevant field.

A procurement, supply chain or logistics qualification from an internationally recognised body is a distinct advantage
