Warehouse Manager (Hardware Engineering Section)

Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee the daily operations of the Hardware Engineering Warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise all warehouse activities related to hardware materials including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch.
• Ensure all goods are stored systematically with proper identification and tagging for easy traceability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and material handling to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.

2. Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure periodic physical verification of inventory.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records and report discrepancies immediately.
• Implement and monitor FIFO/LIFO or other inventory management techniques as applicable.
• Coordinate regular cycle counts and annual stock audits.

3. Team Supervision

• Lead and manage warehouse staff including supervisors, storekeepers, and helpers.
• Ensure proper training, discipline, and performance evaluation of warehouse personnel.
• Allocate duties and monitor productivity of team members.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards (5S) and ensure proper storage of hardware materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Enforce proper use of PPE and handling equipment.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Oversee documentation for inbound and outbound materials (Goods Receipt Notes, Issue Notes, Delivery Challans, etc.).
• Maintain accurate system entries in ERP/WMS for all warehouse transactions.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on stock status, movements, and performance metrics.

6. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with procurement, maintenance, and operations departments for timely material support.
• Communicate with transporters and suppliers for smooth logistics coordination.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation and data.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in Hardware Engineering Items or industrial materials.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and material handling procedures.

Pay: Rs115,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
