About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and inventory locations are maintained accurately
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery schedules
- Allocate tasks and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing
- Monitor staff performance and address operational issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records through SAP
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support physical stock audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and losses
- Promote safe working practices
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience of warehousing within an SAP environment, preferably in food sector industry.
- High level of computer literacy, to include MS Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
- Good communication skills in English
- Arabic is an advantage
