Role Summary

The Project Manager (PM) will oversee the development, launch, and first 3–6 months of onboarding for a SaaS platform. The PM will coordinate product, development, operations, QA teams, and external partners, while managing scope, timelines, and communication with all stakeholders.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience:

2–3+ years managing web or SaaS product deliveries, ideally involving PHP-based systems, CRM, or complex back-office applications. Experience working with multi-tenant products is highly preferred.

Technical Literacy:

Able to understand and interpret PHP, SQL, HTTP, and DevOps terminology, and clearly communicate technical considerations to non-technical audiences.

Methodology:

Well-versed in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery frameworks, and experienced in running sprints, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal English. Skilled in preparing reports, release documentation, onboarding materials, and operational runbooks.

Stakeholder Management:

Experienced in aligning internal and external teams including legal, sales, marketing, implementation partners, and client-side representatives during onboarding phases.

Tools:

Comfortable with JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar PM platforms; Git-based workflows, CI/CD concepts, Slack/Teams, and basic system monitoring tools.

Responsibilities (Day-to-Day / Deliverables)

  • Define project scope, timelines, key deliverables, and acceptance criteria for each release cycle.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive project roadmap including milestones, dependencies, and sprint structure.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily updates, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Identify risks and blockers, escalate as needed, and manage mitigation or resolution strategies.
  • Coordinate work across design, development, QA, DevOps, legal (privacy/terms), and marketing for launch readiness.
  • Oversee release timelines, deployment cycles, and rollback procedures.
  • Generate weekly progress reports, sprint updates, burn-down charts, QA status summaries, and performance tracking.
  • Manage the go-to-market readiness plan and client onboarding framework.
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of operational documentation, including runbooks, admin guides, onboarding manuals, and escalation paths.
