Workshop Supervisor

A Workshop Supervisor manages the end-to-end maintenance and repair operations of all vehicles & heavy equipment. The role acts as a critical link between technical teams and elite clients to ensure impeccable performance and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include operations and workflow management, which involves planning and allocating tasks to optimize productivity and minimize downtime. Quality assurance and luxury standards are paramount, requiring rigorous inspections to meet prestige brand standards and personally signing off on completed work. Technical troubleshooting involves diagnosing complex issues and providing guidance to the team. The supervisor also handles client coordination, communicating with clients or service advisors regarding timelines and updates. Parts and inventory control requires coordinating with procurement for genuine parts and managing inventory. Finally, compliance and safety are essential, enforcing safety guidelines and ensuring vehicles comply with regulations and warranty standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Required experience typically includes at least 5 years in an automotive workshop, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within a luxury environment. Deep technical expertise in high-end mechanical systems and diagnostic tools is necessary. Leadership skills are vital for managing, mentoring, and training a team. Proficiency in workshop management software and Microsoft Office is also required.
