Assistant Inventory Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Inventory Manager supports the Inventory Manager in overseeing inventory control, stock management, and material flow across multiple outlets. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely availability of items, cost control, and compliance with company procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily inventory operations across stores and outlets.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of food, beverages, and operational supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, stock cards, and system entries.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, spot checks, and audits.
  • Supervise receiving of goods and ensure quantities and quality match purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all stock receipts and issues.
  • Enforce FIFO, expiry control, and proper storage standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement, kitchen, and operations teams on stock requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Identify discrepancies, variances, and slow-moving items and report to management.
  • Support cost control initiatives by monitoring wastage and stock movement.
  • Assist in reducing losses, damages, and overstocking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in storage areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory or store operations, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
  • Good knowledge of inventory systems and stock control procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
