Assistant Manager – Human Resources (HR)
Job Description :
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process (job posting to onboarding)
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning
- Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts
- Maintain talent pipeline and recruitment database
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction process
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing
- Verify attendance, overtime, leaves, and deductions
- Ensure statutory deductions (Income Tax, EOBI, Social Security)
- Maintain employee salary records and increments data
- Assist in salary benchmarking and compensation reviews
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation
- Update HRIS and employee database
- Issue experience letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents
- Monitor probation and confirmation process
- Manage leave records and attendance system
- Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI)
- Provincial Social Security Departments
- Assist in handling audits and labor inspections
- Coordinate annual and mid-year appraisal cycles
- Track KPIs and performance evaluation records
- Assist in increment and promotion process
- Support performance improvement plans (PIP)
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters
- Conduct preliminary investigations when required
- Prepare warning letters and show-cause notices
- Support employee engagement activities
- Identify training needs in coordination with HODs
- Arrange internal and external training programs
- Maintain training records and feedback reports
- Prepare monthly HR reports (headcount, attrition, recruitment status)
- Track HR KPIs (turnover rate, absenteeism, hiring timeline)
- Provide HR dashboards to management
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies
- Ensure proper communication of policies to employees
- Support implementation of HR SOPs
