Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backlink Specialist for a 6-month contract to support our SEO initiatives. The ideal candidate will focus on generating high-quality backlinks, enhancing website visibility, and improving domain authority. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic professional with a strong understanding of SEO and link-building practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Link Generation & Outreach

• Generate 900 high-quality backlinks during the contract period.
• Research authoritative and relevant websites for link-building opportunities.
• Conduct outreach to webmasters, bloggers, and platforms to acquire backlinks.
• Build relationship-driven backlinks through guest posts, collaborations, and partnerships.
• Monitor competitor backlink profiles to identify opportunities for improvement.

2. Content & SEO Support

• Collaborate with the content team to optimize content for link-building opportunities.
• Suggest topics or content ideas for guest posts and linkable assets.
• Ensure proper anchor text optimization and diversity in backlinks.

3. Link Analysis & Monitoring

• Monitor existing backlinks to ensure quality, relevance, and SEO compliance.
• Analyze the impact of backlinks on website performance and search engine rankings.
• Utilize SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.) to track backlinks and identify broken or toxic links.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of backlinks generated, outreach conducted, and progress toward targets.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve link-building efficiency.

5. Collaboration & Strategy

• Work closely with SEO and marketing teams to align backlink efforts with overall SEO strategy.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, backlink strategies, and algorithm updates.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in backlink building or SEO.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and link-building best practices.
• Hands-on experience with outreach and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
• Ability to generate high-quality, relevant, and diversified backlinks.
• Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, target-driven, and capable of working independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of building backlinks and improving SEO performance.
