Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Bidding Expert with proven success on Upwork and Fiverr to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, preparing winning proposals, maintaining client communication, and securing new projects through freelance platforms.

The candidate must have strong expertise in understanding client requirements, drafting persuasive proposals, and closing deals aligned with company goals and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain company profiles on Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelance marketplaces.
  • Identify relevant projects and craft compelling proposals and customized cover letters.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into successful projects.
  • Communicate effectively with potential clients to understand their requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the technical and marketing teams to estimate project scopes and deliverables.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and deadlines to close deals profitably.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze bidding performance and success rates to improve strategy.
  • Stay updated with platform algorithms, bidding trends, and new marketplace features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Bidder / Business Development Executive on Upwork and Fiverr.
  • Proven record of achieving monthly and quarterly sales or project targets.
  • Excellent proposal writing, client communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, web & app development, digital marketing, or design projects.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
