Bookkeeping Specialist

Professor Gatsby's HeatingCooling is currently hiring for a full-time Bookkeeping Specialist to handle all things accounting-related in our West Berlin, NJ HVACPlumbing office. This position earns $55,000 - $70,000/year, depending on accounting skills and experience.

In this Bookkeeping Specialist position, we rely on you to help keep our operations flowing smoothly by accurately keeping and entering financial information to generate reports. You are detail-oriented and organized, taking great pride in ensuring everything is checked more than once and everything lines up! You are responsible for maintainingdeveloping Inventory Control trackinggoods receipt procedures.

You effectively utilize your computer skills to process accounts receivable/accounts payable, posting cash receipts, and reconciliations. Clients and employees alike depend on you for clear and accurate information. You enjoy being an active member of our office team, and you help ensure the operational success of our company!

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2+ years relevant Bookkeeping experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - required
• Experience using Quickbooks
• Service Titan CRM experience preferred
• Foundational bookkeeping skills and an understanding of accounting principles
• Data entry and basic math skills
• Desireability to grow professionally
• Can accurately use Microsoft Office
