Bookkeeping Specialist

<Responsibilities>

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using QuickBooks.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit card transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management review
• Interaction with our payroll service company
• Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows while ensuring timely payments and collections

<Qualifications>

• Proven experience in corporate accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, knowledge of other bookeeping platforms a plus
• Solid knowledge of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation and general ledger accounting
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
