Business Development Engineer – Industrial RO & Wastewater Systems
Location: Islamabad / Rawalpindi with nationwide client visits
Role Overview
We are hiring a technically-sound sales professional to develop industrial clients for large-scale RO plants, water treatment systems, and wastewater / ETP solutions. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and business — you will not just sell equipment, you will sell process solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard industrial, institutional, and infrastructure clients
- Conduct site visits, raw water analysis discussions, and requirement gathering
- Present RO, ETP & STP process solutions to plant managers & decision makers
- Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, BOQs & concept notes
- Coordinate with engineering team for design assumptions & costing
- Manage tender responses, clarifications, and client technical meetings
- Track pipeline, follow-ups, and deal closure timelines
- Build long-term relationships for O&M, AMC, and repeat projects
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory developments
Solutions You Will Sell
- Industrial RO Systems (5–50 m³/hr+)
- Boiler feed RO & DM Plants
- Textile dyeing & finishing water treatment
- Food & beverage water systems
- ETP / STP & Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plants
- Chemical dosing, softeners, UF, multimedia & polishing systems
- Annual Maintenance Contracts & plant retrofits
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s in Chemical / Mechanical / Environmental / Electrical Engineering
- 2–5 years experience in industrial water treatment or process engineering sales
- Able to understand water analysis reports and plant layouts
- Comfortable discussing TDS, recovery, flux, fouling, CIP & membrane life
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Willing to travel for plant inspections and technical meetings
- Confident with Excel, technical documentation & proposal writing
