Job Title: Business Development Manager – Travel & Tourism
Location: Karachi

Reports To: Director Sales / General Manager / CEO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the Travel & Tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company’s client base across corporate, leisure, and B2B travel segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new clients in corporate, leisure, and group travel segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, travel partners, and suppliers (hotels, airlines, DMCs, etc.).
  • Promote company travel packages, services, and customized travel solutions to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements with vendors and partners to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and digital marketing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Represent the company at travel exhibitions, networking events, and trade shows.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
  • Track sales performance and provide regular business development reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism Management, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in business development or sales within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong network of corporate and B2B travel clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
  • In-depth understanding of travel operations, packages, and destination management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in inbound and outbound travel sales.
  • Familiarity with international destinations, visa processes, and travel documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for the travel industry.
