Mission of the Role:


GlassHouse focuses on the top 2000 enterprise IT customers in Turkey. Business Development Specialist will be tasked with creating new qualified opportunities for the sales team.


  • Use online and offline marketing methodologies to create leads for the sales teams in our target segment for GlassHouse’s Cloud, SAP Infrastructure, Data Back Up and Managed Services Portfolios
  • Represent GlassHouse in the Cloud and Managed Services market as a viable brand in Turkey


Basic Functions / Responsibilities:


  • Will contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Will be able to follow leads eminating from the digital platforms, events and other marketing activities & tools
  • Will be able to nurture leads from inception to opportunity stage
  • Bringing new business development ideas to the company
  • Regularly achieve the targets set by the Employer for the assigned business area.
  • Work with other company units such as sales, operations and finance
  • Ensure international business and revenue growth
  • Provide necessary communication with GlassHouse's current and potential customers
  • Promote new products that customers can use and that GlassHouse can serve, and increase GlassHouse's awareness
  • Understand the interest in these new services through customer searches and report the addressable market information of the new services to the sales team
  • Follow the company's sales activities and provide weekly reports to the sales team and managers regarding new opportunities
  • Ensure that all newly created sales opportunities are entered into the sales management systems used by the company and that this information is updated regularly (at least weekly)
  • Comply with the standards of the Employer and the company systems used during the entry and update of sales opportunities into the systems
  • To provide weekly reports to the Employer on activities carried out to create sales opportunities and to collect information from the company's vendors


Qualifications/Skills:


  • University Degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum 2 years of server, storage and/or cloud business development, sales or inside sales experience
  • Experience in working within a matrix organization with minimum supervision
  • Has excellent written communication skills both in Turkish and English
  • Ability to identify opportunities and implement changes that improve existing processes
  • Ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment
