Business Excellence Manager

Job Purpose:

The Business Excellence Manager drives a culture of excellence across the organization by implementing and governing excellence frameworks, process improvement initiatives, and performance management systems. The role ensures measurable improvements, alignment with strategic objectives, and sustainable operational effectiveness across all business units, including Asset Management, Property Management, Community Management, and Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Excellence Frameworks & Standards

  • Develop, implement, and maintain organizational excellence frameworks (EFQM, global best practices).
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies, regulations, and national excellence standards.
  • Facilitate internal assessments and readiness programs for excellence awards.

Process Definition, Improvement & Operational Efficiency

  • Map, define, and optimize processes via platforms like ARIS.
  • Lead end-to-end process reviews using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify inefficiencies, implement improvement initiatives, and facilitate Kaizen events.
  • Collaborate with IT/digital teams on automation opportunities and solutions.

Technology & Digital Transformation

  • Leverage digital tools to improve business excellence, process efficiency, and performance management.
  • Implement enterprise platforms (workflow systems, dashboards, document management).

Performance Management

  • Develop corporate KPIs, scorecards, and reporting systems.
  • Monitor organizational performance and provide actionable insights.

Strategy Alignment & Implementation

  • Translate strategic goals into initiatives, improvement projects, and operational plans.
  • Support business case development and strategic prioritization.

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor quality management systems.
  • Conduct audits and drive corrective/preventive actions.

Capacity Building & Culture Development

  • Design and deliver training, workshops, and coaching to embed a culture of excellence.

Reporting & Governance

  • Use analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) for dashboards and reporting.
  • Maintain governance structures for improvement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • EFQM Assessor certification.
  • ISO Lead Auditor / Quality Management certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).

Experience:

  • 7–10 years in business excellence, operational excellence, quality, or performance management.
  • Experience in Asset, Property, Community, or Facilities Management.
  • Proven track record implementing excellence frameworks and measurable performance improvements
