Chef / Cook Needed for a restaurant serving Multiple Cuisines

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Multi-Cuisine Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate has a strong command over a variety of cuisines, can manage multiple menus simultaneously, and thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining food quality, developing new recipes, and ensuring every order leaves the kitchen on time and on point.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute dishes across multiple cuisines including but not limited to Fast Food, Fried Food, Italian, Greek, Chinese, Continental, BBQ, and Middle Eastern.
- Manage simultaneous order flow from multiple delivery platforms (foodpanda, Careem, etc.) while maintaining speed and quality.
- Develop, standardize, and document recipes with exact measurements to ensure consistency across all shifts and team members.
- Create new menu items and limited-time offerings based on market trends, customer feedback, and seasonal availability.
- Ensure proper plating, portioning, and packaging standards for delivery — food must travel well and look great on arrival.
- Manage daily kitchen operations including prep schedules, station assignments, and workflow optimization.
- Oversee inventory management, minimize food waste, and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, hygiene, and delivery packaging.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with Punjab Food Authority (PFA) regulations.
- Monitor customer reviews and ratings on delivery platforms and take corrective action where needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a chef, with proven expertise in cooking multiple cuisines.
- Hands-on experience working in a kitchen or high-volume delivery-focused kitchen setup.
- Strong knowledge of flavor profiles, cooking techniques, and ingredient sourcing across different cuisines.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple brand menus from a single kitchen simultaneously.
- Excellent time management — capable of handling high order volumes during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Understanding of delivery packaging best practices (temperature retention, presentation, leak prevention).
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food storage, and safety practices in line with PFA standards.
- Good leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with fried chicken preparation is a strong plus,
- Culinary diploma or food safety certification (PFA FSTL-I/II or equivalent) is a plus.
- Ability to adapt recipes for cost optimization without sacrificing taste or quality.
Mandatory Compliance
All kitchen staff will be required to meet the following Punjab Food Authority (PFA) requirements:
- Medical Screening — clearance for communicable diseases (Hepatitis B/C, TB, etc.) through a PFA-approved facility.
- Food Safety Training — FSTL-I certification at minimum; FSTL-II preferred for this role.
- Valid CNIC and up-to-date health/hygiene card.
