Roles & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to support large-scale food production in a catering environment. The role involves managing a specific kitchen section, ensuring consistent quality, and meeting high-volume service demands while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate an assigned section of the catering kitchen
  • Prepare and cook food in bulk quantities while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
  • Ensure timely meal production in line with daily catering schedules.
  • Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Monitor portion control, minimize wastage, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Conduct regular checks on food quality, storage, and temperature control.
  • Assist in menu planning and implementation based on client or project requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Coordinate with store and procurement teams for stock availability and requisitions.
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in catering, industrial kitchen, or large-scale food production.
  • Strong knowledge of bulk cooking techniques and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Desired candidate profile

  • Culinary diploma or certification.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
