Karachi based client of Grow International (PK) is urgently looking for result-oriented with growth mindset having local and international exposure in business development, sales and marketing of medical, surgical and disposal products. The client/firm is pharmaceutical distributor of local and international pharmaceutical companies / commercial importers in whole of Pakistan particularly in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Currently, client is supplying medical, surgical and disposal products particularly cardio related items to government, semi government and private Hospitals. The firm has head office in Clifton, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan and having other associated companies and / or branch offices as well.
The firm is looking for candidate who have below minimum attributes:
Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- To design and develop business plans with sustainable growth and clear business objectives.
- To design and develop business growth strategies in line with business plan.
- To make yearly sales and marketing targets including product promotion plans and develop target monitoring mechanism.
- To make regular product need analysis and identify matching local and international branded products.
- To enhance existing business volume on gradual and sustainable basis in Govt and private Hospitals.
- To design and develop customer acquisition plan and workable sales strategy.
- To hire, develop, train and retain team of sales and marketing.
- To build and maintain strong business relationship with doctors, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- To collaborate with internal departments of the firm for smooth operations and have a full collaborative effort to achieve common goals of company / firm.
- To engage with international pharmaceutical companies to have more branded pharmaceutical and cardio related products as to expand range of available products.
- To expand existing vendors network so as to ensure less dependency on small number of vendors.
- To ensure sales revenue is recovered as agreed upon credit terms with customers.
- To deal with government departments, especially DRAP and other related agencies for business purpose.
- To represent the company / firm at local and international events, exhibitions, new
- product awareness programs.
- To ensure regular reporting to senior management which includes CEO, chairman / senior partner on sale targets, new products, collections and new customers.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum master’s degree in sales and marketing, including brand creation. The candidate having additional degree in pharmacy shall be preferred. Minimum 15 years of experience in local and multinational companies, especially pharmaceutical distributors. The candidate having 5 years or more’ experience of multinational pharmaceutical companies in business development will be preferred.
