
Cruise Port Operations Officer- Sharm El Sheikh

Coordinate all logistical arrangements for arriving and departing cruise ships.

Liaise with cruise line agents, port authorities, customs, immigration, and local service providers.

Ensure timely boarding, disembarkation, and transit services for passengers and crew.

Supervise terminal activities including baggage handling, security checks, and transportation logistics.

Monitor safety and security procedures in compliance with ISPS Code and port regulations.

Handle emergency or unexpected situations such as medical evacuations, weather delays, or port congestion.

Manage ground transportation (buses, taxis, private transfers) and excursions coordination in Sharm EL Sheikh.

Ensure cleanliness, signage, and passenger flow at the terminal meet international cruise standards.

Compile and submit reports on cruise calls, passenger traffic, incidents, and service evaluations.

Support tourism and hospitality teams in enhancing passenger experience at port.

Maintain communication with tour operators, customs, and local vendors to ensure excellent service delivery.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree any field

2+ years in a junior-level maritime or port operations role.

Experience in cruise shipping, port agency, or marine logistics is highly preferred.

Sailing experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong communication in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Teamwork and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (e.g., customs, immigration, cruise lines).

PC literacy and familiarity with port management systems or maritime software.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency or rerouting scenarios.

Preferably a resident of Sharm El Sheikh or nearby areas.
