Required Skills
Must-Have
- Experience in transportation planning & execution, warehouse coordination, and shipment lifecycle tracking
- Ability to reconcile shipment records (dispatch vs. receipt, freight bills vs. contracted rates) and resolve discrepancies
- Hands‑on usage of ERP/TMS/WMS (e.g., SAP S/4, SAP TM/EWM, Oracle, Manhattan); familiarity with Ariba/e‑invoicing portals for vendor communications
Good-to-Have
- Experience in Logistics, inventory principles & master data governance.
Required Technical Skill Set
- SMAX Configuration & Operations: Service contract, part, technician & stocking location setup; scheduled and unscheduled WO creation.
- SAP Functional Knowledge: Customer master and technician setup; Installed Base (IB) lifecycle management; SAP–SMAX location integration.
- Service Operations: ATP validation, SW version update coordination, and SAP–SMAX data synchronization.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SMAX Service Contracts, Parts, Technicians, and Stocking Locations.
- Perform SAP Customer Setup, Technician Setup, and master data maintenance activities.
- Manage Installed Base (IB) creation, updates, and Decommissioning (Decom) in SAP and SMAX.
- Execute Scheduled and Unscheduled Work Order (WO) creation in SMAX as per service requirements.
- Handle Customer Master Change Requests and ensure data accuracy between SAP and SMAX.
- Perform New IB setup along with SAP/SMAX location configuration.
- Conduct ATP (Available-to-Promise) checks to support service and parts availability.
- Manage SW version updates and related system configuration changes.
- Ensure accuracy and governance of SMAX part setup and service-related master data.
- Own and ensure end-to-end accuracy of service master data across SAP and SMAX.
- Act as a key operational support for service contracts, Installed Base, and work order management.
- Ensure seamless SAP–SMAX integration for customers, technicians, locations, and parts.
- Proactively identify and address gaps in service setup, parts readiness, and system configuration.
- Support continuous improvement through process standardization, system enhancements, and data audits.
- Organize timely meetings with carriers, warehouses, and customer teams for issue resolution and performance reviews.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/TMS/WMS systems (SAP S/4, SAP TM/EWM, Ariba, or similar tools) for logistics and inventory transactions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and inventory processes; update SOPs and training documents.
- Willingness to work in US shift timings
