ERP Implementation Coordinator

Job Purpose

The ERP Implementation Coordinator is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact between company management, internal users, and the external ERP implementation partner. The role ensures effective communication, timely information flow, proper documentation, and smooth coordination throughout the ERP implementation, customization, testing, and rollout phases.

Key Responsibilities

2.1 Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the single point of coordination between management and the ERP implementation company
  • Communicate business requirements, priorities, and feedback clearly to the ERP vendor
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and progress reviews related to ERP implementation
  • Ensure management decisions and approvals are communicated promptly to the ERP partner

2.2 ERP Implementation Support

  • Support ERP implementation activities including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Assist in mapping current business processes to ERP modules
  • Track implementation milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Follow up on pending actions, issues, and change requests

2.3 Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper documentation
  • Prepare status reports for management on ERP implementation progress

2.4 User Coordination & Support

  • Support basic ERP user queries and escalate technical issues to the implementation partner
  • ·Assist in organizing ERP user training sessions

3. Key Skills & Competencies

3.1 Technical & Functional Skills

  • Basic understanding of ERP systems (ODOO) and implementation lifecycle
  • Familiarity with business processes such as procurement, inventory, sales, finance, or operations
  • Basic knowledge of data migration, UAT, and ERP workflows

3.2 Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Good documentation and reporting ability
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving and follow-up skills

4. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in ERP coordination, ERP support, or implementation-related role
  • Prior experience working with ERP vendors or consultants is an advantage
  • Experience in service or operations-based organizations preferred
