Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out interiors, joinery, FF&E, and finishes. The responsibilities include preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, quantity take-offs, and budgets for fit-out projects. You will liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure efficient resource allocation and project delivery. Additionally, maintaining cost control, and compiling reports or tenders on pricing are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and budget preparation
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing blueprints, technical drawings, and project documentation
• Experience in communication and collaboration with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project alignment
• Ability to manage cost control, compile tender documentation, and evaluate materials
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Understanding of fit-out processes, materials, and construction methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in fit-out project estimation or quantity surveying is an advantage
• 5+ years experience in fit-out / interior projects (Qatar or GCC preferred)
• Strong understanding of finishes, joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, and FF&E
