Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and innovative Textile & Fashion Designer to join SRS Fashion Hub. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, design, and develop textile and fashion products that align with current trends and our brand’s identity. You will play a key role in transforming ideas into commercially viable collections while ensuring high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Create original fashion designs for men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel and accessories.
• Develop textile patterns, prints, and fabric designs according to market trends.
• Sketch concepts manually or using digital design software.
• Trend Research:
• Research fashion trends, market demands, and competitor products.
• Forecast seasonal trends and propose innovative design concepts.
• Sample & Production:
• Collaborate with production teams to transform designs into samples.
• Review fabrics, trims, colors, and finishing to maintain quality standards.
• Work with vendors and suppliers for fabric and material sourcing.
• Collection Planning:
• Assist in planning seasonal collections and thematic product lines.
• Maintain mood boards, color palettes, and technical specifications.
• Collaboration:
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams for product promotion.
• Take feedback from the team and adjust designs accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• Strong creativity and innovation with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Clo 3D, Embroidery Software, CorelDRAW, and CAD software.
• Knowledge of fabrics, yarns, prints, and textile techniques.
• Understanding of garment construction, patterns, and sizing.
• Strong drawing, illustration, and visualization skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Awareness of local and international fashion trends.

Desirable Attributes:

• Prior experience in fashion houses, textile companies, or apparel production.
• Knowledge of sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly design techniques.
• Ability to experiment with innovative fabrics and finishes.
• Portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility.
