Finance Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Finance Lead to oversee our accounting operations and support strategic financial initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team while contributing to the company’s financial excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain internal control systems and procedures
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Prepare reports and financial analysis for decision-making
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes
• Ensure the compliance with Zakat, VAT & TAX
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Assist Finance Director with special projects and strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar finance/accounting leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
• Proven experience in team management and staff development
• Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills and power query.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Must Hold Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Must Hold Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (CMA, FMVA, ACCA, or equivalent) is plus.
• Experience in similar industry
• Knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools
