The Role
The Manager Finance at IDR will lead and oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring robust financial planning, accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and contribution to strategic decision-making. This role partners with leadership to drive financial performance, manage risks, and support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
Provide strategic financial insights and advise senior management on trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support long-term financial strategy alignment with IDR’s business goals.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Monitor financial performance and variance analysis to inform decisions.
Present findings to senior leaders with actionable recommendations.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with local laws, tax obligations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Oversee internal controls, financial policies, and audit processes.
Team Leadership & Operations
Supervise and mentor finance and accounting team members.
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cashflow monitoring.
Drive finance process improvements and systems enhancements.
Risk Management
Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks.
Collaborate with business units to embed risk-aware decision frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with external partners (auditors, banks, tax authorities) as necessary.
Liaise with internal functions to support operational and financial goals.

Qualifications
Education & Professional
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Professional certification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA, CA).
Experience
5+ years of relevant finance experience, with demonstrated experience in management or leadership roles.
Experience with financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
Technical Skills
Strong financial analysis and forecasting capabilities.
Proficiency in financial software and Excel; familiarity with ERP systems advantageous.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage teams, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced culture.

Compensation & benefits:
Benefits: EOBI contributions as per Pakistan’s labor laws.
