Position: Manager Finance

Department: Finance

Location: Islamabad

Reporting To: CEO

Role Overview:

The Manager Finance will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning, reporting, and control functions. The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Control

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions in line with approved policies.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

  • Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and working capital requirements.
  • Ensure timely management of receivables, payables, and fund utilization.
  • Support management in optimizing cash flow and financial efficiency.

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and governance standards.

5. Financial Analysis & Business Support

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Assist in cost control, profitability analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Support business units with financial data, budgeting, and performance tracking.

6. Team Coordination & Reporting

  • Supervise and guide finance team members to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure financial alignment with operational activities.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (MBA / CA / ACCA / CMA preferred).
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Experience in managing audits, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
