Freight Forwarding Manager
who is curious, ambitious, and ready to work in diverse cultures and complex, non-standard environments.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end international transportation of cargo (primarily rail and sea), ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery.

Design and optimize
freight routes from Central Asia to global destinations
, selecting the most efficient combinations of rail, sea, and multimodal transport.

Coordinate with
freight forwarders, shipping lines, rail operators, and port authorities
to manage smooth cargo movement, including loading, unloading, and transshipment activities.

Prepare and evaluate
freight costing, rate negotiations, and budget planning
, ensuring maximum cost efficiency without compromising delivery timelines.

Analyze logistics data, including
transit times, freight costs, route performance, and risk factors
to continuously improve transportation efficiency.

Proactively manage shipment execution, identify bottlenecks, and resolve operational challenges related to delays, customs clearance, or route disruptions.

Maintain strong coordination with
customs agents, ports, and international logistics partners
to ensure compliance with global trade regulations and smooth cargo clearance.

Lead logistics planning and execution for bulk shipments, ensuring proper
cargo handling, container utilization, and safety standards
.

Drive continuous improvement in logistics operations by identifying better routes, reducing transit time, and optimizing overall supply chain costs.

Manage all operational documentation including
BL, invoices, packing lists, freight contracts, and customs documentation,
with accuracy and compliance.
What We Expect from You

5+ years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding or international logistics operations
(mandatory).

Proven experience in
route planning, freight costing, and cargo movement management
across rail and sea.

Strong understanding of
Central Asia, Far East, and Southeast Asia trade routes
, including multimodal transportation.

Established network with
shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and logistics vendors
.

Practical knowledge of
container planning, cargo handling, transit risk management, and cost optimization
.

Solid understanding of
Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation
.

Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage shipments from planning to delivery.

Excellent negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.

Analytical thinker with the ability to make
data-driven logistics decisions (cost vs time vs risk)

Fluent in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
