Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage front-desk responsibilities efficiently. This role requires handling administrative tasks, greeting visitors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Manage front desk operations and maintain a tidy reception area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, couriers, mail).
  • Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conference rooms.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Provide support to HR/Administration teams as required.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and place orders when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior experience as a Receptionist or in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
