General Ledger (GL) Accountant and Revenue Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Ledger (GL) Accountant and Revenue Accountant based in Rawalpindi. The role involves managing general ledger reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. Key responsibilities include monitoring revenue transactions, reconciling accounts, processing journal entries, and assisting with monthly closings. The accountant will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audits and internal control procedures when required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Reconciliation, and Journal Entries
• Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and Reports
• Revenue Accounting experience, particularly in tracking, analyzing, and reporting income streams
• Practical knowledge of Accounting Software and ERP systems
• Analytical skills to assess and resolve discrepancies in financial data
• Familiarity with Financial Compliance, Audit Processes, and Regulatory Standards
• Proven attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Professional accounting certification (such as CPA, ACCA, CA) is a strong advantage
