Job Description:
- Drive workwear sales growth by managing export buyers, meeting assigned revenue, order, and margin targets.
- Develop competitive costing and pricing strategies to ensure commercial viability and profitability of workwear products.
- Must have strong knowledge of Workwear Compliances and Standards both ISO and NFPA.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market analysis, buyer engagement, and competitor benchmarking.
- Maintain strong buyer relationships by leading communication, resolving issues proactively, and supporting brand positioning.
- In-depth knowledge of workwear products, fabrications and trims.
- Market analysis and business development skills, including trend analysis and competitor benchmarking
- Induct new customers and showcase products via virtual demos, sample presentations, trade shows, and factory visits
- Develop and execute strategic sales plan for key export markets (Europe, North America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific)
- Monitor order pipelines, forecast accuracy, and profitability per buyer and product line.
- Lead price negotiations with buyers while protecting gross margins
- Ensure all products meet international safety and quality standards; guide internal teams on certification requirements
- Achieve KPIs including YoY export sales growth, gross margin per category, number of new export buyers onboarded annually, compliance pass rate, buyer retention score, and forecast accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, sourcing, and compliance teams
- Manage sample approval process and bulk order handover from sampling to production
REQUIREMENTS:
- MBA Marketing / B.Sc. Textile Engineering
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing of outerwear/workwear & 5 years in export business development.
