Head Chef

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, ensuring the highest quality of products, and providing training to our baking staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the food industry and a strong background in food science to stabilize products and ensure consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and update menus in line with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to standard, on time, and to the highest quality
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Monitor portion control and minimize waste
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
  • Schedule kitchen staff and manage labor costs
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting and business planning
  • Handle special dietary requests and customer feedback professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent culinary knowledge and creativity
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP)
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
