As a Host, you’ll coordinate reservations, manage guest flow, and ensure every visitor feels valued and comfortable. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide a warm welcome upon arrival.
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating arrangements.
• Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
• Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservation details.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the host stand area, creating an inviting first impression for all visitors.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus, demonstrating hospitality expertise.
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally.
• Ability to remain energetic, organized, and attentive during busy service hours.
• Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles will help you excel in creating memorable guest experiences. Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
