Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver efficient janitorial services and maintain high-quality work
• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, laundry areas, and back-of-house facilities regularly for cleanliness and safety compliance
• Manage staff scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity
• Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event preparations

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping management with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices
• Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams effectively
• Knowledge of laundry operations and janitorial procedures within hospitality settings
• Excellent management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems efficiently
• Strong communication skills to train staff and coordinate with other departments
• Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes
