HR Assistant -Construction & Interior Fitout

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for HR Assistant for one of a leading Construction & Interior Client in Dubai to join their team .The candidate should be well versed in recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits, compliance, and administrative duties to ensure smooth HR operations.

Location - Jebel Ali & Al Quoz

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full recruitment cycle: posting job adverts, screening resumes, scheduling & coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates.
  • Support on boarding for new hires: preparing contracts, offer letters, new hire documentation, orientation arrangements.
  • Maintain and update employee records (physical and digital), including personal data, attendance, leave records, visa/work permit status.
  • Assist in processing payroll inputs (time sheets, overtime, deductions) and liaise with payroll or finance departments.
  • Support benefits administration (insurance, leave, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour law and company HR policies & procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports as needed (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, etc.
  • Coordinate with other departments for HR‑related tasks (e.g. facilities, travel, PRO tasks).
  • Support employee engagement activities, training coordination, and performance appraisal processes.
  • Assist in visa and work permit renewals, passport/labour card tracking etc.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in HR / HR administration preferred, ideally in UAE / Middle East context.
  • Basic Knowledge of UAE labour law, visa/work permit processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks & priorities.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written); ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proactive, reliable, team‑oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
