Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to manage and support all human resource functions within our software house. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT/Software industry HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for technical and non-technical roles
- Coordinate with department heads to understand resource and hiring needs
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation
- Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and SOPs
- Handle attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
- Manage employee performance evaluations and appraisal processes
- Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations
- Support training & development programs for employee growth
- Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement environment
- Prepare HR reports, headcount summaries, and management dashboards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a software house or IT company
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, and labor laws
- Experience hiring developers, designers, QA, and IT professionals
- Proficiency in HRMS tools, MS Office, and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills (Plus Point)
- Familiarity with performance management systems
- Exposure to ISO, HR audits, or compliance documentation
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
