HR Officer / HR Executive (Software / IT Services)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Officer to manage and support all human resource functions within our software house. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT/Software industry HR practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for technical and non-technical roles
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand resource and hiring needs
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation
  • Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Handle attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
  • Manage employee performance evaluations and appraisal processes
  • Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations
  • Support training & development programs for employee growth
  • Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement environment
  • Prepare HR reports, headcount summaries, and management dashboards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a software house or IT company
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, and labor laws
  • Experience hiring developers, designers, QA, and IT professionals
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools, MS Office, and Google Workspace
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills (Plus Point)

  • Familiarity with performance management systems
  • Exposure to ISO, HR audits, or compliance documentation
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
