What to Expect:
The Human Resources Representative is responsible for providing first-line HR support, guidance, and information to employees and managers. This role coordinates data and information which includes but is not limited to: processing general requests related to employment information, I-9 maintenance, leave management and FMLA review, HR-related system support, and administration and data tracking of reports. The HR Representative plays a crucial role in improving efficiency, productivity and delivery of hassle-free service to employees system wide.
How you will make an impact:
Customer Service & Support
- Respond promptly to general HR-related inquiries via phone, email and post.
- Create positive employee experience through consistent communication and accurate information on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Diagnose and resolve HR-related issues and appropriately escalate complex or unresolved issues to specialized HR team members.
Documentation & Reporting
- Track and document employee interactions and solutions provided.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS and other systems.
- Update and maintain electronic employee HRIS records.
- Prepare and disseminate HR related reports.
- Vendor and data management related to state and Federal EEO reporting requirements.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned such as special projects, HR processes, onboarding and offboarding, seniority and travel management.
Policy & Compliance
- Support leave management and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
- Educate or inform employees on company policy.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improving HR processes and service delivery.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years of customer service experience.
- One year of Human Resources and data entry experience.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems.
- Expert written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Attention to detail related to data entry and maintaining data integrity.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- ADP Workforce Now experience.
- TIBCO Spotfire experience.
- Experience with ticketing software.
