HR Specialist (Recruitment) – Educational Institution - Tagalog Speaker

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Recruitment Specialist to lead and manage the recruitment process for academic and administrative staff across our institution. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in educational recruitment, preferably within a university or higher education setting, and a strong ability to attract, evaluate, and secure top-tier talent aligned with our organizational values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies for academic and non-academic roles
  • Work with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including posting, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation
  • Ensure recruitment practices are inclusive, equitable, and compliant with institutional policies
  • Represent the institution at job fairs, university career events, and other outreach activities
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and prepare reports on recruitment metrics
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership on onboarding strategies and workforce planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in a university or educational setting
  • Proven success in filling academic and administrative roles
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of hiring regulations and compliance in education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a university’s HR or recruitment office
  • Knowledge of faculty hiring processes and academic career tracks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
