About the Role

UWP powered by ARC helps UAE SMEs run their entire people operation through one partner — combining HR services, PRO and government coordination, payroll processing, staff outsourcing, and a modern HR technology platform. As we expand into the Abu Dhabi market, we are looking for a driven, consultative HR Business Consultant to grow our client base across the emirate.

This is a client-facing business development role for someone who can build relationships, understand a client's people-operations challenges, and introduce them to a genuinely valuable integrated solution. You will own the Abu Dhabi market end to end — from identifying potential clients to securing new engagements — and play a foundational role in establishing our brand in the emirate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow our client base across Abu Dhabi mainland and free zones (ADGM, Hub71, KIZAD, Masdar City, twofour54, and others).
  • Identify and engage potential clients through direct outreach, networking, referrals, business events, and existing relationships.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and complimentary people-operations audits to understand each prospective client's HR, PRO, and payroll challenges.
  • Present tailored solutions across our full offering — HR Services, PRO Services, Payroll Processing, Staff Outsourcing, and the HRMS platform.
  • Prepare proposals, agree commercial terms, and secure new client engagements to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly business growth targets.
  • Build and maintain referral partnerships with Abu Dhabi accounting firms, business setup consultancies, and free zone authorities.
  • Represent UWP powered by ARC at Abu Dhabi business networking events, chambers, and industry forums.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of each new client to the delivery team for onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client engagement, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM.
  • Provide regular market feedback on the Abu Dhabi SME landscape, competitor activity, and client needs.

What We're Looking For

Experience and knowledge

  • 2 to 5 years of B2B business development or client-facing consulting experience in the UAE, with Abu Dhabi market experience strongly preferred.
  • An existing network within the Abu Dhabi business community is a significant advantage.
  • Background in HR services, business services, SaaS, payroll, PRO, or related B2B solutions.
  • Good working knowledge of the Abu Dhabi SME landscape, including ADGM, mainland licensing (ADDED), and the Tawteen (Emiratisation) framework.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding business growth targets.

Skills and attributes

  • Strong consultative advisory skills — able to diagnose client needs and position an integrated solution, not simply pitch a product.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable owning a market independently.
  • Organised, with discipline in pipeline management and CRM record-keeping.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving business where the role and offering will evolve.

Language and other requirements

  • Arabic language skills strongly preferred — highly valuable for building trust in the Abu Dhabi market.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) essential.
  • Based in Abu Dhabi, or willing to relocate or commute reliably.
  • UAE driving license and own car preferred, for territory coverage.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Success Metrics

Performance in this role will be measured against clear, agreed targets, including:

  • Number of qualified meetings and people-operations audits conducted per month.
  • Pipeline value built and maintained.
  • New client engagements secured per month and per quarter.
  • Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) generated from new clients.
  • Referral partnerships established within the territory.
