Human Resources Assistant

Job Title: HR Assistant

Position Type: Full-Time/ Hourly

Hourly Range: $18- 20


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources team in daily operations and administrative functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with day-to-day HR operations and general administrative support

  • Support onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and employee file setup
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee data within internal systems
  • Set up new user accounts and assist with system access for new hires
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide clerical support to the HR team, including filing, faxing, scanning, and mailing
  • Assist in coordinating HR projects such as trainings, meetings, and internal communications
  • Respond to employee inquiries and route requests appropriately
  • Perform additional administrative and HR-related duties as assigned


COMPETENCIES

  • Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data entry accuracy and information management skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive and resourceful mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to support various HR functions


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1-2+ years’ experience in an administrative-related role
