Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR Manager in day-to-day operations and plays a key role in ensuring a positive and efficient team member experience. This position assists with onboarding, payroll, compliance, communication, and HR administration. The HR Coordinator is often the first face new hires see- creating a welcoming first impression that reflects Old Town Pizza’s culture and values.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is looking to grow their career in Human Resources.
This is a Full Time/Part Time position with a pay range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Pay will be determined based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a positive, welcoming onboarding experience
· Support the recruitment and hiring process, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, and coordinating interviews
· Maintain accurate and organized personnel files and HR records
· Assist with payroll processing and ensure data accuracy and timeliness
· Prepare and update HR documents, forms, and communications
· Assist with HR reporting, employee data audits, and compliance tracking
· Support benefit administration and assist team members with basic questions or forms
· Assist with employee recognition programs, celebrations, and milestone tracking
· Help coordinate training sessions, meetings, and company events
· Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
· Provide administrative support and assist with special projects assigned by the HR Manager
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
· Flexible schedule and ability to travel between locations as needed
· Desire to learn and grow in the field of Human Resources
· Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycom experience preferred)
· Previous experience in an administrative, HR, or office support role preferred
· California Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain)
Compensation and benefits:
· Starting Annual Salary = Dependent upon Experience
· Discount of 25% for you and your immediate family at any OTP
· Annual anniversary bonus if performance in good standing
· Performance Bonus possible. Our overall compensation philosophy is pay for performance and is only limited by your performance and the financial performance of the company.
· Medical – Company will pay half of employee only premium after waiting period
· 401K Program - Company will match up to 4% of gross wages contributed after waiting period

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
