Al Haadi Mobilya SMC (Pvt.) Ltd. is a premium furniture company representing Enza Home, a globally renowned Turkish brand offering contemporary furniture and lifestyle solutions. As we continue to expand our operations in Pakistan, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Imports Specialist to manage our international procurement and logistics operations from our Lahore head office.

Position Overview:

The Imports Specialist will be responsible for handling the complete import process — from purchase order to delivery — ensuring the timely and efficient flow of goods while complying with all local and international trade regulations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in import documentation, logistics coordination, and customs clearance, preferably within the furniture, retail, or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire import process, including documentation, shipment tracking, and coordination with suppliers.
  • Communicate with international vendors, shipping lines, and freight forwarders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Prepare, verify, and manage all import-related documents (invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, Form-I, etc.).
  • Liaise with customs agents, clearing houses, and port authorities for smooth clearance and compliance.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, freight costs, and ensure adherence to company budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, warehouse, and finance) for stock updates and payment processing.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export laws, SROs, and customs regulations in Pakistan.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import activities and related correspondence.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare periodic import status reports for management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in import operations, preferably in the furniture, retail, or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of import documentation, HS codes, customs procedures, and LC processing.
  • Excellent coordination, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
