About the Role
Descon Engineering Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented
Incharge – PMT
to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, quality, and HSE requirements while fostering strong collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and project control activities.

Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and progress tracking mechanisms.

Coordinate with clients to define project scope, manage expectations, and provide regular progress updates.

Monitor project budgets, costs, forecasts, and overall financial performance.

Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and other business units to ensure successful project delivery.

Review contracts, administer change orders, identify project risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and performance targets.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.

Support proposal development and bidding activities by providing project execution and planning inputs.

Manage subcontractors, vendors, and key project stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and timely execution.

Prepare project status reports, management dashboards, and performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
-
PMP, Risk Management, or Cost Control certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
-
10–12 years of relevant experience in Project Planning, Project Management, and Project Controls.

Experience in Engineering, EPC, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Construction projects is preferred.
