Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager with a strong background in back-office inventory operations. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory processes, ensure accurate stock management, and lead a team responsible for day-to-day inventory activities. Strong managerial skills, analytical expertise, and proficiency in inventory systems are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the entire supply chain process, including logistics, inventory, and returns.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Analyze demand forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct cycle inventory audits and resolve variances within specified timelines.
- Track shipments and proactively address supply issues or vendor credit delays.
- Manage returned merchandise and ensure timely rebate recovery from vendors.
- Handle purchase and return disputes to minimize financial impact.
- Provide real-time support to field teams to facilitate smooth sales operations.
- Develop performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare and analyze reports on supply chain performance and cost efficiency.
- Assist with monthly inventory audits and provide insights to management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and generate detailed management reports.
- Lead, train, and mentor inventory staff.
- Supervise daily inventory operations and ensure compliance with established processes.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in Telecom back-office operations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience managing or leading a team.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Aged under 30 years.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory or supply chain management.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and reporting tools.
- Understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
- Data analysis and forecasting skills.
