IT Administrator

Job Requirements:

· Proven experience as IT Head or similar role 4 to 6 years

· Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

· Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.

· Experience in controlling information technology budget

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Outstanding communication abilities

· MSc/MIS/BS(IT) in computer science, engineering or relevant field.

· Vision to foresee the consequences, opportunities and challenges with current and future solutions

· Problem-solving mindset, not a reactive mindset

· Critical analysis

· Team-work and collaborative approach

· Efficient communication (inter and intra department communication)

· Strong leadership capabilities

· Should be able to document and report all IT activities.

Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals

· Suggest future courses of action to improve system efficiency, speed, productivity and security

· Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management

· Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs

· Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.

· The ability to manage and maintain a complex network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.

· Experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

· A deep understanding of cyber security concepts and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and vulnerability assessment.

· Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.

· Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques, such as data mining, machine learning, data analysis and predictive analytics.

· Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.

· Experience in managing and optimizing database systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.

· Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

· The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems, including hardware, software, and network issues.

· Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives.

· Understand, monitor and troubleshoot the in house servers to keep them running smoothly.
